WMPA Weekly Newsletter 11-09-17

Hello fellow band parents! Our outdoor season is almost over! As we come to a close here is what’s going on …

PLAYOFF GAME VS SOUTHERN LEHIGH @ NORTHAMPTON: Chaperones are Sandy Ball, Cathy Haller, Stephanie Haller, Darryl Messinger, and Cheryl Schuster. Report time is 4:45p. Truck Driver is Ernie Haller. It’s going to be a cold night so dress for the weather!

CHAMPIONSHIPS @ HERSHEY: Chaperones are Tracy Cooper, Adam Dunstan, Cathy Haller, Michelle Kemmerer, and Bonnie Kies. Report time is 2pm. Truck driver is Ernie Haller and Gator Driver is Matt Sommer. Truck is needed at 1:45p.

SNACKSTAND: All future playoff games at this point will be at a neutral location. Our outdoor snackstand is now officially done for the season. Thank you to everyone who supported this any way you could. Coming soon will be our INDOOR SNACKSTAND. In order to keep the profits of the outdoor snack stand by the field house we are required to man the indoor snackstand for the home girls and boys basketball games. This season begins in January. The indoor snack stand is in the hallway just outside the gym and is SUPER EASY to work. We only need 2 people. Last year we compensated the families who volunteered by putting money in his/her student’s account. We will discuss doing this again at our next meeting. Stay tuned!

Trans-Siberian Orchestra ticket raffle – We were generously gifted 2 tickets to see this legendary band at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on 12/17 at 7:30p. Tickets were distributed to the students already. If you need more tickets please contact Tara. 100% profit will go to WMPA general fund. Please return any unsold tickets and money no later than Nov 29th. Drawing will be held Dec 1. Winner will be contacted directly.

Pies and Nutrolls – Orders and money are due by Nov 14th. Pickup will be Nov 21st 5-7p. Order form is attached.

PARENT MEETING: Our next parent meeting has been moved. We will now meet on WEDNESDAY NOV 15th at 6:00p in the LGI Room. See you there!

Thanks for all you do for your kids,
Sandy Ball
WMPA President
